Avocado Toast 5 Ways

Avocado Toast

Perfect for an easy breakfast, simple lunch or afternoon snack, avocado toast is one of the easiest ways to use ripe avocados.

Avocados are on sale at Safeway – just $.75 each through May 4th.  It’s the perfect time to make avocado toast with ripe avocados.

Avocado toast is a staple lunch for me as it comes together in 5 minutes flat.  My go-to avocado toast recipe is toasted bread topped with smashed avocado, crumbled feta, freshly cracked black pepper.

Making an avocado toast is incredibly easy.  Simply toast your favorite bread. A hearty whole-grain seeded bread is perfect for avocado toast.

Cut the avocado and spoon out the flesh to top your toasted bread.  You can either slice the avocado or just spoon it and smash it.  Top with your favorite toppings.

5 Avocado Toast Topping Ideas
