The key to juicy pork chops is not overcooking them. By using an air fryer, which is like a mini convection oven, the hot air circulates around the pork chops, cooking them perfectly without drying them out. A quick flip ensures both sides are evenly cooked to perfection.
To accent the herb flavor in the pork marinade, we make a compound butter with salted butter, minced garlic, rosemary and thyme that adds even more flavor to the pork chops once they are plated. The butter can also be used on potatoes and asparagus as it adds a deliciously savory, herby flavor.
Ingredients in Air Fryer Pork Chops
Pork Chops
- 16 oz AdapTable Meals boneless pork loin chops
- 1/2 cup salted butter softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
Air Fried Potatoes
- 1 lb. baby potatoes, quartered
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano or thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Pork Chops in the Air Fryer
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter with the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined. Form the butter into a log shape and place it into plastic wrap. Roll the wrap around the butter into a log shape. Refrigerate or freeze until hard.
Brush the pre-seasoned pork chops with olive oil on both sides. Place into the air fryer basket.
Toss the quartered baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, dried oregano, garlic powder, and smoked paprika (I think this is what we used).
Place the seasoned potatoes into the air fryer along with the pork chops.
Cook at 370 degrees for 15 minutes, turning the pork chops and tossing the potatoes halfway through. The internal temperature of the pork should be 145° when fully cooked.
Plate the pork chops and potatoes and top with a slice of the garlic herb butter.

Game changer! Moist pork chops and that garlic herb butter was so easy to make. I paired it with a baked potato and that butter was everything! Thanks for another great recipe.
Hi Susan! Thank you so much for leaving a comment. Glad you enjoyed the recipe! We love that compound butter over pork, beef, and even salmon. It’s delicious on bread too!
All of these recipes look delicious & would love to try. However, I’m born & raised in New Orleans & have always cooked with cast iron skillets & occasionally crockpots. I don’t own an air fryer or anyone who does. Could the many air fryer recipes be adapted to stove-top, oven, &/or crockpot? I understand time & temperature will be a factor, but would there also be a conversion chart & how would I get my hands on one??Would sincerely appreciate your response.
Hi Naomi. For this particular recipe, you could cook the pork chops in the skillet for 6-8 minutes on each side until they reach 145 degrees, internal temp. I would start cooking the potatoes first as those would take a few minutes longer than the pork chops. You can also cook this on a sheet pan in the oven on 400 degrees for 20 minutes. I would not make this particular recipe in a crockpot. Hope that helps. Thanks for following SuperSafeway!
