Valentines Dinner: Bang Bang Shrimp with Chicken Bowls
The truth is no one really wants to be in the kitchen on Valentine’s Day. This year the high on Valentine’s Day is forecast for 25°. It’s the perfect night to stay in, enjoy some Bang Bang Shrimp bowls, watch a movie and have some dessert to celebrate your loved ones. While I’ve traditionally done surf and turf – we are keeping it light this year with lean proteins like shrimp and chicken over brown rice or cauliflower rice.

I like the idea that you are going for here, but it would be great to see this come out on a Thursday after the sale ad on Wednesday so that it could go from one sale ad to the next. I live 30 minutes from my Safeway so I’m not able to shop on the Tuesday right before the ad ends and then on Wednesday. And my Safeway runs out of good sale products early. Just a thought to keep meal plan all in one ad. Thanks for all you are doing. Love your site!
Thank you, Robin! I greatly appreciate your comment and I will keep your request in mind. In this week’s meal plan I used a combo of deals from last week’s ad and this week’s ad because I had a preview of it by Monday. Still working through the kinks and I expect it will change, but I appreciate that you find it useful.
So happy to help you find good deals and save money!
